Five Minutes Toward Purpose

Tap Heals

Stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed?

Rushing through life to complete one task after another?

Always busy, yet you find yourself wondering What did I accomplish? or What was I busy doing?

Consider opening up a small space of peace, quiet, and focus through simply sitting still for five minutes.

You don’t even have to sit. You can walk, run, do Pilates, yoga, DIY, dance, or anything else that allows your mind to find calm. (But do try to do it on a regular basis.) Use this small space of time to meditate, visualize, or both.

Dag Hammarskjold, United Nations Secretary-General, once said, “The longest journey is the journey inward.” Yet even short journeys inward—five-minute journeys consisting of peaceful, centered thoughts—will help you to figure out your purpose … and to move you along in the direction of your goals and dreams.

Certainly you have five minutes to invest in the larger you, right?
